GIB!!
Kudos to the t-gang. We are back from one more memorable trip. Thanks to all those people who made it to a wonderful place called wonder la.
Well, its been three days since I came back and I am still not free from the aches and pains..
It began well enough. The entire gang met at my place. Kruthsie landed up late as usual. Sushy and Vasanthi aunty were the early birds.
By 8 A.M on a fine sunday morning, all of us set off in our respective cars in four's and five's. Myself, tezu, kruthsie, athige, somu and sushy in one. The elder ones, the uncles and aunties in murali's car..
We chatted leisurely on our way, cracked jokes and sang at the top of our voice.
And after a 30 minute drive via the NICE road, we were right there. THE WONDER LA.
We reached there at around 9.45, ate at the cafeteria, dilly-dallied for a while and went in for the rides by 11.
We tried out the wonder splash first. An amazing ride through the waters.
Later, my dearest bro tezu decided to finish the land rides first and then jump for the water ones. So we set off for the land rides.
1) MAVERICK: This was one ride which will be remembered forever. It was a high thrill ride. The maverick turned us left, right and even upside down at inclined angles.
This was termed as the "Meter-off" ride by my beloved brother- tezu.
2) DROP ZONE: The vertical drop zone never seemed a big deal on the look of it. But once we were in, it took us to great heights and threw us down at high speeds.. One more amazing ride.
3) Y-SCREAM: This was another high thrill ride. Termed as 'bucket' by manu for the reason that the seats were more or less like buckets! The bloody thing mercilessly rotated us at 360 degrees at terribly high speeds and I was glad that all of us came back alive :)
4) TECHNO JUMP: Even though the game was dumb, the seat belt was so loose, I feared that I would be carried away by the wind :) Thanks to sushy for holding me tight :)
5) HURRICANE: One terrible ride. I was sitting next to manu this time and it was probably the only high thrill ride where I maintained a cool head :)
6) PIRATE SHIP: Pretty much similar to the columbus thingy. It was an awesome ride but unfortunately, mr.tezu puked after stepping out of the ship. The speed was too much I guess..
There were many other rides, but high thrill rides were mentionable..
After a sumptuous lunch at the Green's Courtyard, we proceeded on to the Cine magic.
CINE MAGIC: A virtual reality, it was. We could actually FEEL the movie. "ULTIMATE" is all I can say.
DASHING CAR: Well, crazy cars. A child's game. Kruthsie was awesome at this. My car was her target. Probably she brought out all the aggression she had on me!! Ah, never mind. My little sister after all :)
Then we proceeded on to the WATER PARK..
1) WAVE POOL: Artificially generated waves was the pool's speciality. But I could not enjoy the whole thing and I had to walk out of the pool. All thanks to the cheapo guys whose eyes were literally fixed on girls.. There MUST be a separate pool for ladies..
2) TWISTER: A closed-water slide which has got twists and turns. Me and sushy were together in this ride. And we shouted all the way through the slide till we reached the pool :)
3) WATER PENDULUM: Like the twister, even this was a two-people ride. And again it was me and sushy.
After checking out all the water slides we went on to the changing room, had a quick bath and then set off to the "DUNGEON'S DEN".
Initially, I thought it would be scary, full of ghosts and things like that.
But at the end of it, me and Kruthsie ended up laughing at those ghosts :)
CRAZY WAGON and WONDER LA BAMBA were covered in the evening.
The most fascinating thing was the GIGANTIC WHEEL.. It was a tall tower. Approximately 50m tall and 30m radius. We could catch a wonderful view of the widely spread wonder la's area..
Probably, this was the thing I loved the most :)
By 8 P.M all of us were tired and sleepy. We ate at the cafeteria and drove back home, thus ending the T-Gang's first day out :)
All in all, we had a wonderful time out there. One of the amazing trips I have ever been to :)
Three cheers to the T-gang :)
Only tharle, no thale..
GIB, by the way :)
